1. About Lurnur Studio & Word House
Word House (word.house) is developed, maintained, and operated by Lurnur Studio, an independent creator of cognitive learning environments, educational utilities, and puzzle platforms. Our studio network includes:
Word House (word.house): A high-performance, tournament-grade lexical reference, anagram solver, and word game aid.
LurnurKids (lurnurkids.com): An ad-free early reader and preschool learning space.
LurnurGames (lurnurgames.com): Flagship STEM and cognitive adventures.
Because we build and run these platforms independently, we are deeply committed to total transparency regarding user privacy, data minimization, and safety. You can explore our studio-wide policies at lurnurstudio.com/privacy.
Core Security & Advertising Disclosures
Third-Party Ads & TrackingWord House integrates services including Google Analytics and partner advertising, governed strictly by Google Consent Mode v2 and affirmative opt-in consent.
No Account NecessaryWord House is an open utility. We do not require account registration, passwords, full legal names, home addresses, or phone numbers to look up words or solve puzzles.
Local-First StorageTo deliver sub-millisecond word searches, compressed dictionary indexes are cached locally in your browser (IndexedDB/Service Worker). No personal data is stored in this cache.
India Operations // Global ScopeOperating out of India, Lurnur Studio is committed to ethical data practices, full compliance with applicable digital personal data regulations, and transparent support communication.
2. Children's Privacy Safeguards (COPPA)
We design all Lurnur Studio platforms with family and student safety as a top priority:
No Personal Profiles: We do not compile persistent real-name profiles of minor student players or word solvers.
No Under-13 Data Collection: Word House does not intentionally solicit or collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-Party Ad Management: Third-party advertising partners (including Google) are configured in accordance with standard online safety policies. Users may opt out of personalized ad tracking via Google Ads Settings.
Lurnur Studio partner initiatives and educational tools are crafted to support teachers and learners. We adhere strictly to educational confidentiality principles:
We never sell, rent, or lease user information or search query history to commercial data brokers or marketing aggregators.
Vocabulary lookups and anagram searches are processed in ephemeral memory or locally in the browser without being tied to a persistent identity.
4. Information We Collect and How We Use It
We collect minimal categories of data necessary to host and optimize our platforms:
Support & Feedback Inquiries: If you contact our desk at [email protected] or via our contact form, we receive your name, email, and message content solely to investigate missing words, fix bugs, or respond to your inquiry.
Aggregated Telemetry & Server Logs: Standard non-identifying technical metadata (browser user-agent, operating system, preferred language, referring URL, and anonymized IP addresses) to monitor server uptime, prevent denial-of-service abuse, and optimize crawl efficiency.
Dictionary Index Cache: Local browser storage used strictly to enable offline functionality and instantaneous searches.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Requests
We retain support communications only as long as necessary to resolve user requests and maintain lexicon accuracy. Users, educators, or parents may request the immediate deletion of any submitted correspondence or support records at any time.
To submit a formal deletion or data inquiry request, please reach out to our privacy officer at [email protected].
6. Governing Law & Global Compliance
Lurnur Studio operates under the laws of India. Our operations comply with applicable digital data protection standards, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), as well as international standards such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regarding user rights to notice, data access, and opt-outs.
